Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary announces the death of Mary Manley Kelley, age 97, of Augusta, GA, on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at the St. Joseph Hospital after an extended illness.
Funeral services are Saturday, March 11th, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary with Father Tom Murphy, officiating. Interment will be in Hawhammock Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary, Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Kelley was a native of Atlanta, GA. She was a designer for Macy's Department Store in New York, NY, and Davison's Department Store in Atlanta, GA. She was a Tennis Pro with the Jekyll Island Tennis Club, an artist, taught and lectured interior designing. She was Catholic, and was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Dade Kelley.
