Celia Kelley Alford, age 95, of Lawrenceville, GA, died June 12, 1997.

She is survived by daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Carolyn) Beaty, Lawrenceville; sons, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Alford, Lawrenceville; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy (Carolyn) Alford, Commerce; sisters, Mrs. Mary McEachern, Lilburn, Mrs. Louise Ivy, Norcross; brother, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie (Frances) Kelley, Loganville; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Alford, the widow of Arthur Alford, was a native of Gwinnett County, and was a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, at 3 p.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church. Interment, Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11-1 p.m. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, Inc., Lawrenceville, (770) 963-2411.
