All members of the household were noted to be able to read and write, and all three daughters had attended school since September of the previous year. At 90 years of age on Mar 21, 1978, Mittie K Andrews died in Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia. Mittie Andrews was buried in the Sunshine Cemetery in Franklin County, Georgia, where he husband had been buried after his death in 1965.
