Barbara E. (Hudson) Kelly, of Braintree, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at the age of 83. Born in Boston, she was a longtime resident of Dorchester before moving to Braintree. Barbara was a retired employee of John Hancock Life Insurance Co. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. "Dick" Kelly, and the devoted mother of Patricia M. Owen of Hanover, Richard A. Kelly of Weymouth, Thomas J. Kelly of Braintree and David V. Kelly of Braintree. Barbara was also the loving Nana of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the O'Donnell & Mulry Funeral Home, 138 Neponset Ave., Dorchester on Friday morning at 9:15. Funeral Mass in St. Ambrose Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 5 - 8 p.m. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
