Arthur Art, Bud' Lloyd Kelly April 6, 1928 - November 1, 2015 National City Longtime resident of National City, Arthur Kelly, passed away at the age of 87. Born in Moorhead, Minnesota, Art served in the U.S. Navy on vessels that included the USS Thompson and the USS Kittyhawk from 1945 to the mid-1970's. He received many service commendations, including two National Defense Service Medals and four Good Conduct Medals. Following his naval career, he worked at Grossmont Hospital (now Sharp) as a construction supervisor until his retirement. He was an active member of the order of Elks and the American Legion. He loved cooking, woodworking, and RV camping. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Anna Mae, brothers Ray and Tom, sister Carol, son Brian (Sylvia), stepdaughters Valerie and Juanda, and one grandson. He made us laugh and he will be greatly missed. Military service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery on December 1, 2015.
