Mrs. Anna (Kelly) Barnum, 62, an Adams native and wife of Lester E. Barnum of Springfield, died suddenly yesterday afternoon while vacationing in Newport, N.H. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Barnum was born here the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kelly. She attended the Adams schools and was married at St. Thomas Church. Soon after her marriage she and Mr. Barnum moved to Indian Orchard and had resided there and in Springfield for the past 39 years. Until they retired two years ago, she and Mr. Barnum owned and operated the National House in Indian Orchard.
Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Sharon of Ludlow, two brothers and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Maple Street Cemetery here.
