Mr. Jefferson Kelso died of malarial fever, Tueday, May 20, 1890, at 9 o'clock p.m., at thre residence of his father, Mr. James C. Kelso, two miles east of town. He was about 20 years of age. For some time he had been living in Birmingham, where he contracted fever. He was brought home last week and it was at once seen that his condition was dangerous and the chances of recovery against him. Everything that loving, sympathic hands to do was done to arrest the disease, but its progress could be stayed only by the arm of Omnipotence. Jeff has passed beyond twilight's purple hills and that realm where the sumerable dwell and all that we have of him is a memory - a recollection of a noble young man.
