Sept. 1, 1915 - March 26, 2017 Lallage Kendrick Estock age 102, of Riverchase in Hoover, Alabama passed away on March 26, 2017. Lallage was born and raised in Chelsea, Alabama. She attended school and church in the K-Springs community of Chelsea where she grew up in a loving family with her parents, Effie and Bernard Clifton Kendrick, her older sister, Louise and her younger sister, Kathleen. In 1934, Lallage graduated from Vincent High School. She had a very long and successful career as the assistant to manager in general accounting with the Alabama Gas Corporation for over 33 years. Throughout her life, Lallage shared many hobbies with her husband Steve including golf, square dancing and caring for their award winning yard. They both were also avid readers and enjoyed traveling the world together. Lallage's life was full of many wonderful blessings and she was still dancing on her 100th birthday and beyond. Her love, presence and strength will always be remembered and very greatly missed. Lallage was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Stephen J. Estock, Jr.; her parents Effie and Bernard Clifton Kendrick; her two sisters, Louise Kendrick Drake (Peyton); Kathleen Kendrick Standifer (William Allen) and her niece Barbara Drake Morrison (Bill). She is survived by her nephew Dr. Wayne Allen Standifer (Carol); niece, Kathy Lynn Standifer Deitsch (Gregg); great nephews, Clarke Morrison (Deborah), James Allen Standifer, Justin Michael Deitsch; great nieces, Leslie Hilton (Tim), Andrea Jackson (Mark), Kathleen Deitsch Love (Dustin), Chelsea Standifer Crenshaw (Arthur); great- great nieces Megan Morrison, Charlotte Morrison, Mary Elise Standifer, Sarah Anne Jackson, Katie Jackson, Lyndsey Marie Love and great- great nephew Jesse Sloss Crenshaw. The funeral services will be on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00am at Bold Springs Presbyterian Church on Hwy 119. Visitation at the church from 10:00am to 11:00am.
