Keneston, Francis W. CASTLETON Francis W. Keneston, fondly known as "KMAN," 64, passed away suddenly while vacationing in Florida with his beloved wife, Patty, on Thursday, March 12, 2015.

He was a proud graduate of St. John's Academy in 1970 and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph's Church, Rensselaer, attending St. John's Church for many years. He was retired from the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation. Frank was a generous, kind and loving man. He was the happiest making sure his cherished daughters, Erin and Darcy, and grandchildren, Paige, Noah and Francis, were happy and taken care of. His every waking moment was spent making sure his inner circle was protected. He enjoyed fishing, casinos, going to his grandchildren's many activities and traveling with his childhood sweetheart and wife, Patty.

In addition to his wife Patricia Keneston, he is survived by his cherished daughters, Erin Keneston (Bill Gumaer) and Darcy Colby (Michael); his adored grandchildren, Paige, Francis and Noah, and siblings, James, Lawrence and Michael Keneston and the late Millard, Dennis and Gerald Keneston and Eleanor Kentzle. He leaves behind his faithful dog, Bandit, who was a Father's Day gift from his daughters. Uncle Frank will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church, Herrick Street, Rensselaer, on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 10 a.m., when a Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.

Those wishing to remember Frank in a special way may send a contribution to Maryland School for the Blind, 3501 Taylor Ave., Baltimore, MD 21236, for a special little boy who he prayed for, Tiernan O'Meara. Condolence page at wjlyonsfuneralhome.com.
