Lucy Margaret Anderson, age 69, of New Market died Monday, May 4, 2009 at Rose Hill Nursing Home in Berryville. She was born January 7, 1940 in Culpeper to the late John Daniel and Gladys Seal Kennedy.
Mrs. Anderson attended the Christ Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Harrisonburg.
She is survived by her step-son, Allan Fitzgerald; her sister, Eleanor Street, her former husband, Jimmy Fitzgerald and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Anderson, and one sister, Shirley Anderson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Poling officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
