She was the wife of Warren J. Kerrigan and a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Molloy) Scanlan. She attended St. Michael Grammar School and graduated from Lowell High School in 1942.

Mrs. Kerrigan was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell and held membership in the Parish Holy Rosary Sodality and was an active member of the Seton Guild. She had also volunteered at the former St. John's Hospital for many years.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Kerrigan was a librarian at Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsboro.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Warren J. Kerrigan Jr. and his wife, Lorie, Brian T. Kerrigan and Jay M. Kerrigan and his wife Lori; a daughter, Lynne A. Slattery and her husband Joseph J.

She also leaves two brothers, Thomas Scanlan and Richard Scanlan; a sister, Theresa Olsen; 13 grandchildren, Tara Cuccihiara and her husband Craig, Lisa Collins and her husband Shawn, Kelley, Amy, Jay M. Jr., Alison, Blake and Shannon Kerrigan, Justin, Julie, Michael, Elizabeth and Joseph Slattery; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Meghan and Brian Collins, Emma Cuccihiara; three nephews, Glenn Olsen, Joseph Nugent and Mark Nugent; a sister-in-law, Rita Sullivan.

She was also the mother of the late Peter J. Kerrigan and sister of the late John "Jack" William and Joseph Scanlan.
