Beverly Arvin, 67, of Chatham, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at her residence. She was born April 4, 1932, in Springfield, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Watson Killen. She married Dick Arvin in 1949. Mrs. Arvin retired in 1995 after 20 years as administrative secretary at the Department of Public Aid. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and AARP.
Survivors: husband, Dick; four daughters, Sher Halpin, Patti Teaney, Janet Cox and Debra Boatman; two sons, Rick Arvin and Robert Arvin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Margaret Killen-MacDonald; a brother, Henry Killen.
Services: Staab Funeral Home. Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
