Mrs. Mary Jane Killen Brown, 77, of Springfield, died yesterday at the residence. She was born March 14, 1867, at Centralia, came to Springfield when 13 years old, and had since lived here. She was married to Arthur L. Brown in 1886.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. L. W. Abrell, with whom Mrs. Brown made her home, and Dorothea B. Zellers, also of this city; two sons, Murt K. of the navy, and David H., Chicago; three brothers, Benjamin, Charles and George Killen, all of city; a sister, Mrs. Alice Houston, city; nine grandchildren.
Burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
