Wallace Killen Run Down While Driving Across the Tracks.
Wallace Killen was killed at New Florence on Saturday evening. He was aged about 19 years and resided with his father, Ephriam Killen, on a farm several miles south of New Florence. The young man had taken some milk to the New Florence depot and was crossing the tracks to return home when a fast mail train struck his wagon. Killen was hurled to the door of the station and was dead when picked up.

Young Man Killed at New Florence While Crossing Tracks.
On Saturday, while Charles Killen, a young man, aged 18 years, was crossing the railroad at New Florence, he was instantly killed by a passenger train going west. The young man was delivering milk in New Florence, and was on his return home when he met his quick death. His horse was thrown 50 feet, and the young man hurled high in the air. Before any one could reach him, he was dead. His skull was crushed, all his ribs were broken, and the remainder of his body was horribly mangled. The deceased was a son of John Killen, of near New Florence.
