Born July 9, 1920, in Everett, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice (Bothroyd) Richardson. She resided with her son, Bob, daughter-in-law, Beth, and their family in Sanbornville for more than five years, having come from W. Roxbury, Mass.
A loving homemaker, mother and grandmother, in earlier years, she worked as a hairdresser in Dorchester, Mass.
Ethel was a participant with the Homemakers of Rochester Day Out program. She loved ballroom dancing and she especially loved her grandchildren.
Wife of the late Thomas J. Kilroy, who died in 1972, she is survived by her four children, Joseph Kilroy of Dedham, Mass., Nancy Guarino of Norwood, Mass., Karen Stone of Brooklyn, Conn., and Robert Kilroy of Sanbornville; 12 grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Ellie Richardson of Natick, Mass.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church on Meadow Street in Sanbornville, with Fr. Edmund A. Babicz, pastor, as celebrant. There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to the funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in W. Roxbury, Mass. at 1:30 p.m.
