Dr. Edward Kilroy, 65, of 9 Gaskill Road died yesterday in his home. He was a radiologist who served on the staffs of Worcester Memorial Hospital and Hahnemann Hospital. He was a former cheif radiologist at Worcester Memorial Hospital and was an associate professor at the University of Mass. Medical Center.

Dr. Kilroy graduated from Harvard University in 1942 and Harvard Medical School in 1945. He was president of Worcester District Medical Society in 1974 and 1975, and the first president of Massachusetts Radiology Society, which was founded in 1966. Dr. Kilroy was a distinguished member of several medical societies, civic groups and community organizations. He was also a captain in the Army Medical Corps during World War II.

Born in Boston, he was the son of John F. and Edith (Person) Kilroy.

At the time of his death, he left his wife, Dr. A. Jane Fitzpatrick Kilroy, a Worcester pediatrician; two sons, John E. Kilroy of Barnstable and David M. Kilroy of Providence, RI; two daughters, Virginia J, wife of Ronnie Koenig of Saddle River, NJ, and Sally J, wife of Richard Talbot of Worcester; a sister, Doris, wife of Robert Scott of Brooksville, FL; and two grandchildren.
