COOKUS - Rettabelle Kinnick, 83, of lifelong resident of Ft. Lauderdale and a Broward County pioneer passed away May 7, 2000. She was the daughter of the late George and Belle Kinnick. She is survived by her husband, Harrison S. Cookus, son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Barbara Cookus, a grandson Justen Cookus, all of Lauderhill, and a daughter Sue Cookus MacDougall of Norfolk, VA. Rettabelle was a lifelong member of Park Temple/First United Methodist Church and a member P.E.O. The family will receive friends at Baird-Case Tamarac chapel on Wed., May 10 from 10-12. The funeral will follow at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society,
