Herbert Aaron Klingler was born November 21, 1928 in Savanna, IL,and died December 10, 2002 in Decatur, IL. Herbert was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. He served as a US Marines Paratrooper during the Korean War. After the war he was an AF of L Pipe Coverer (Asbestos Worker) He married Ruth Bartell Pranschke. Herb and Ruth's children are: Christy Lynn Klingler, Vicki Jo Klingler-Baker, and Cynthia Sue Klingler. Herbert married Kay Brooks October 25, 1968 in Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Klingler and Helen (Schneider) Klingler, and his brothers, Jack Klingler and Benjamin Klingler. Herb was an avid outdoors man as well as a fantastic car engine mechanic and race car hobbyist. He was survived by his loving wife Kay, who has since passed away. He was survived by his brother James Klingler, and his sister Kathleen Hansen, who have also since passed away. He is survived and missed all of his children and grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
