JAY A. KLINGLER, 78, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Jay was the former owner of Indiana Flower Supply from 1979 to 1989 and was a florist for over 35 years. Recently, he was a custodian with Fort Wayne Community Schools for 14 years, retiring in 2004. He was a 1955 graduate of North Side High School, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Sandra Klingler; children, Timothy Klingler of Fort Wayne, Sara Klingler, Robert Klingler of Sandy Springs, Ga., Jamie Witte, and Steve (Anna) Aichele, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Michael, Mary Kathryn, Jackson, and Natalie Klingler, Christian and Elizabeth Aichele; brother, Terry Klingler of Pass a Grill, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Linda Pedigo, Eric Klingler, Mark Klingler, Lucia Sprinkle, Ann Link-Viner and Jay Thomas Link. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Neil and Beatrice Klingler. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W. Berry St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at D.O.
