Shirley Ann (Klingler) Hitchcock, 62, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on September 7, 1952 in York, Pennsylvania to Don and Grace Klingler. She married Tom Hitchcock on June 12, 1982 in Lander.
Shirley was a graduate of the University of Wyoming, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in elementary education and a Master of Arts Degree in curriculum and instruction. Shirley was an educator for 34 years. Her first teaching position was in Lander for seven years. Shirley completed her career as a 27 year employee of LCSD #1, working primarily at Rossman Elementary and Johnson Junior High Schools.
Shirley is survived by her husband Tom, and her mother, Grace Klingler, both of Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Klingler; and her grandparents.
