Kelly was the son of Alois Frank and Florence Ernestine (Heath) Klingler. He graduated from Midwest City High School and then he went on to play football for the Southwestern University in Weatherford, OK. Kelley married Peggy Ann (Hebert) on June 17, 1967 at the St. Peters Church in New Iberia, LA. He was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Herbert) Klingler of the home in Atoka; his children, Dawn M. (Klingler) Stephens and husband Marshall of Lincoln, NE, Shelley C. Klingler of Moore, OK, Katie E. Klingler of Baton Rouge, LA, Max H. Klingler and wife Darlene K. of Monrovia, CA; grandchildren, Alexandra Kelley Klingler of Moore, OK, Ellen C. Stephens of Lincoln, NE, Graham L. Stephens of Lincoln, NE; twin brother, James H. Klingler of Coalgate, OK; siblings, Clifford E. Klingler and wife JoEllen of Zwolle, LA, Patricia A. Boody of Tulsa, OK and Mary K. Klingler of Coalgate, OK; nieces and nephews, Jared H. Klingler of Coalgate, OK, Elizabeth A. Boody of Washington DC, Paul M. Boody of Yokohomo, Japan, Catherine E. Klingler of Midland, TX. Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. Father Higgins will officiate at the Coalgate Catholic Church. Casketbearers will be Max Klingler, Marshall Stephens, Darren Harden, Paul Boody, Jared Klingler, Alfred Buteaux, C.C. Tate, Clifford Klingler and James Klingler. Honorary casketbearer will be Lane Yeager. Services are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Atoka, OK.
