Mrs. Fred Knapp, 68, Merrill Route 5, died at a Wausau hospital at 9:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wausau. The Rev. W. H. Ortwein will officiate and burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call at Helke West Chapel in Wausau after 3 p.m. Wednesday, and at the church from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services. The former Lovine Schuh was born Dec. 10, 1905, in Clark County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schuh. On Aug. 8, 1929, in Oshkosh, she married Fred Knapp, who survives. Survivors, besides her husband, include three sons, Roy, 2613 Teal Ave., Dennis, 421 Ruder St., and David, 2607 Teal Ave., all in Wausau; three daughters, Vietta Cihoski, 419 N. Eighth Ave., and Mrs. John Hanke, 900 Cassidy Dr., both in Wausau, and Mrs. Charles Geiss, Waukesha; two sisters, Mrs. Leo Biel, Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. Clarence Strade, Livermore, Calif.; five brothers, Henry, Curtiss, Francis, Sheboygan, Arthur and Anthony, both of Colby, and Walter, Milwaukee; and 19 grandchildren.
