Eureka- Lucille E. Blunier, 86, of 610 E. Cruger, Eureka, formerly of the Congerville area, died at 12:20 pm on Tuesday July 4, 2006 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka where she was a resident.
She was born on May 24, 1920 in rural Congerville to Fred and Leila Reeser Knapp. She married Tilman �Tim� Blunier on October 18, 1942 in Eureka. He died March 29, 1984.
Surviving is one son; Dennis (Eddis) Blunier of Danvers, four grandsons; Timothy (Susie) Blunier, Trent, Travis (his fianc�, Jaclyn Kellenberger), and Troy Blunier, one great granddaughter Laura, six brothers; Clyde (Leanna) Knapp of Bloomfield, IA, Fredrick (Marge) Knapp of Congerville, Loren (Joan) Knapp of Tucson, AZ, Robert (Jean) Knapp of Eureka, Gerald (Nancy) Knapp of Eureka, Kenneth (Phyllis) Knapp of Palmyra, MO, two sisters; Katherine (Eugene) Funk of Washington, and Mary (Ed) Steffen of Congerville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Lucille was a 50 year member of the Woodford County Home Extension and was a 4-H leader for the Congerville Wide Awake club for over 50 years.
Lucille was a member of the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday July 9, 2006. Church Ministers will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Saturday at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from 12:00 - 1:00 pm on Sunday at the church. Burial will be in the Goodfield-Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Congerville.
