Marilyn Cornwell, 69, of Newman passed away on Saturday (Jan. 29, 2011) at the Newman Rehabilitation Center in Newman.
She was born on Dec. 9, 1941 in Hindsboro to John and Eileen Butcher Knapp. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was raised by her great-aunt and uncle, Hazel and Irwin McGee. They preceded her in death.
She married Paul Cornwell on Feb. 10, 1963 in Newman. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1986.
Surviving are two daughters, Paula (Steve) Williams of Sidney and Stacey (Todd) Vice of St. Joseph; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams and Joshua Vice; one brother, Jerry Knapp of Michigan and one sister, Jean Aleman of Michigan.
