Annie C. Knappenberger

Annie C. Knappenberger, 88, of 24 Wynnewood Ave., Sinking Spring, died Saturday afternoon in Manor Care Health Services Inc., Spring Township.

Her husband, J. Kenneth Knappenberger, died Dec. 9, 1972.

Born in Spring Township, she was a daughter of the late William A. Seitzinger and Sallie E. (Gerhard) Seitzinger Heffner.

Knappenberger was employed as a nurse in the Wyomissing School District from 1949 until her retirement in 1971.

Surviving are a daughter, Joan K., wife of David E. Geary, Livonia, Mich.; four grandsons; and four great-granddaughters.

She was predeceased by a son, John K. Knappenberger.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville.
