The daughter of John H. and Lola (Shellhamme)r Knappenberger, she was born Sept. 15, 1914 in Allegheny township, Westmoreland County.
Mrs. Heckman was a member of Mount Union Lutheran Church.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth E.; one son, Richard S., New Kensington.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice.
Friends will be received today in the Clarence P. Clark Funeral Home, Elderton.
The family will receive friends from time of service Friday, in the Mount Union Lutheran Church. The Rev. Vaughn Taylor will officiate and interment will be made in the church cemetery.
