Mrs. Almira F. Knowland, widow of the late Samuel Richardson Knowland, died at her home, 151 Lynnfield Street, Peabody, early this morning at the age of 83 years.
She was a former resident of this town and lived on Washington Street for many years. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Fred A. Smith of Danvers and Mrs. Elizabeth W. Shubert [sic?] of South Peabody and a son, William H. Knowland of Lynnfield.
Funeral services from the Nichols Mortuary chapel on Pleasant Street on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Frank G. Potter, pastor of St. Pauls M.E. Church of Lynn, officiating.
