MRS. HAZEL MAE KNOWLES ALLEN age 60 of Knoxville, Pa., Saturday, December 20, 1969 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, Pa. 

Friends may call at the Gerald E. Eaton Funeral home, Knoxville, Pa. Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 

Funeral services there Wednesday after 2 p.m., the Rev. Mr. James Seefried officiating.  Burial in Brookfield Cemetery. 

Survived by 13 children; two sons, Franklin R. D. Allen, Wellsboro, Robert E. Allen, Westfield, Pa.; 11 daughters, Mrs. Fred (Leona) Perry, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Short, Mrs. Dale (Wanda) Swetland, Mrs. Eugene (Brenda) Orr and Miss Linda Allen, all of Knoxville, Pa., Mrs. Sadie Johnson, Westfield, Mrs. Durwin (Thelma) Metz, Mrs. Earl (Margaret) Simons, both of Troupsburg, N.Y., Mrs. Neal (Blanch) Stephens, Wayland, N.Y., Mrs. Eugene (Eloise) Lester, Shortsville, N.Y., Mrs. Vernon (Bertha) Austin, Painted Post, N.Y.; sister, Mrs. Emma O'Dell, Newark, N.Y.; 25 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
