Uncasville - Helen Kondratowicz, 82, of 91 Leffingwell Rd., Uncasville, died Sunday morning.
Born in Norwich on August 30, 1928, she was the daugher of the late Konstantia and Mary (Szablinski) Kondratowicz. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a bookkeeper for 45 years at the former Lehigh Bottle Gas Co. of Norwich.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary LePage of Norwich and Anna Leniart of Brookfield; one brother, Paul Kondratowicz of Waterford, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Olga Stepanik and Alexandria Dudek, and two brothers, Stanley and Walter, Kondratowicz.
She will be deeply miss by her devoted nieces and care givers, Joanne Kapinos of Ellington and Lori Trombley of Preston.
Visitation 10 to 11 A.M. Friday at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, followed by services at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church at 11:30 A.M. Interment to follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made in her memory to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 39 Convent Ave., Norwich, CT 06360.
