Donald Krause Jr, passed away peacefully on January 1, 1998, in Sacramento after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Minneapolis MN, on October 12, 1942.

Don and Lois were married in Iowa October 31, 1965. They moved to Fremont, then to Sacramento in 1971. For the past 21 years they made Granite Bay their home.

He is survived by Lois Krause in Granite City, and sons Donald Krause III in Chico and Michael Krause in Roseville. Mr. Krause's mother is in Wayzata MN, and sister Carolyn Kenner and family in Devil's Lake ND.

As an avid fisherman and known as the Crappie King, many of friends would see him on Folsom Lake. His love of fishing was second only to his big smile and desire to help his friends.

Mr. Krause's children would like to invite family and friends to join them in celebrating his life at a social gathering on Saturday, January 10, from 1 to 3 PM at Pinebrook Village Community Center, 7900 Folsom-Auburn Road in Folsom.
