Inez was raised by her loving mother, Mary Watson (Brodie) Kreger (her father left shortly after her birth). She had a wonderful childhood thanks to the love and support of her mother and the Brodie family. She often spoke of her many happy childhood memories growing up in the Long Island area.

Inez entered the workforce as a secretary at Ingersol Rand, NYC in the late 1920s. It was there that she first met Bill Boye. They had become friends because of an unfortunate illness which they both had loved ones suffering from. Inez's boyfriend and Bill's wife were both dying from tuberculosis.

In 1934, Bill Boye asked Inez out on a date. Though she was hesitant on going out with a man who was 16 years older than her, she nonetheless said yes. Upon bringing Bill home to meet her family after their first date, her mother and aunt both told her that she would marry this man. Sure enough their prediction came true as Inez fell in love with Bill and his wonderful red-headed children, Russell and Janet.

Bill and Inez married on June 19th, 1935. Together they raised their children in East Orange, NJ. Around the time of Bill's retirement in the early 1950s, they moved to Chatham, NJ where they were soon blessed by the birth of their first grandchild Linda in 1953. They would be blessed by two more grandchildren; Susan in 1960 and Billy in 1962.

Throughout the 60s, 70s and 80s, Inez and Bill were the best grandparents that any child could ask for. These two wonderfully loving and nurturing souls would provide Linda, Susan and Billy with some of the best memories of their lifes.

After 52 wonderfully happy years of marriage, Bill Boye passed away in 1987 at the age of 97. Though it was a devastating loss to Inez, she was nonetheless grateful and felt extremely blessed for all the wonderful memories she had of their lifes together.

In her later years she was blessed by two great-grandchildren; Dominic born in 1986 and J.D born in 1996. She was as loving and nuturing to them as she had been to her grandchildren and children.

By 1999 Inez's health began to fail. Though she loved her family and friends and was grateful for their love and support, she missed her Bill. And on April 5th, 2000, he came to take her home where their love story continues on.

Thank you Grandma for giving us so many wonderful memories throughout the years. Your loving soul touched so many throughtout your lifetime and continues to live on in the hearts and souls of your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
