Daughter of William and Sarah Kreger, she married Samuel Sellers Boyd, was widowed, lived at RD 3, Sugarcreek Twp, died in Hunter-Graham Conv. Home, Sugarcreek Twp, of generalized arteriosclerosis with cerebral degeneration, per death certificate 61412, whose informant was George Boyd, RD 3 Franklin. Buried Jun 8 1960.

Mrs. Mary Alice Boyd of Franklin RD 3 died at 3:35 pm Sunday in the Hunter-Graham Convalescent Home, where she'd been several months, after a long Illness. She was born in Somerset County.

She moved to Pittsburgh, then to Franklin in 1941. She was a member of the Kingwood Church of God.

She married Samuel S. Boyd who died Dec. 15, 1961.

Surviving are a son, George, of Sugarcreek; a grandson, George Jr. of Munich, Germany; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Carl Kreger, Munster, IN, Clark, Willian and Orland Kreger, Kingwood; 3 sisters, Mrs. Chester Tressler of Kingwood, Mrs. George Kane of Atlanta, GA, and Mrs. Nettie Snyder, Connellsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Hoovler Funeral Home with Rev. Frank A. Towers of Fox Street Church of God in Rocky Grove officiating. Interment will be in Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
