Henry J. Kreger, 82, of Kresgeville, died Friday in his home. Monroe County Deputy Coroner William Kresge attributed death to natural causes.
Kreger was the husband of Stella M. (Bollinger) Kreger. They observed their 60th wedding anniversary in April.
He was a farmer in Kresgeville for many years before retiring.
Born in Kresgeville, he was a son of the late John E. and Mary (Schmeer) Kreger. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Gilbert, where he served on the church council for many years. Kreger served on the Polk Township School Board 1937-49.
Surviving with his widow are a son, Harold L. of Kresgeville, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
