Charles Glenn Kreger, 82, Somerset, was laid to rest on Nov. 9, 2008. Born July 31, 1926, in Hexie, he is the last surviving child of the late Orland and Ruth P. (Tressler) Kreger. Also preceded in death by his wife Sara N. (Ansell) Kreger, brothers, Walter, Clark, James and Roy Kreger and a sister Cora Kreger. Survived by children, Donald L. Kreger, Gilbertsville and Sue C. (Kreger) Sanner of Meyersdale. Also five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Charles Glenn proudly served his country as a Marine during World War II at Okinawa and supervised the construction of Three Mile Island Cooling Towers. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday with Ralph Fazenbaker officiating. Interment in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
