Blair Eldon Kreger, 76, Markleton, died Aug. 4, 2001 at his residence. Born Nov. 8, 1924 in Upper Turkeyfoot, Somerset, son of James and Mary Ann (Heckler) Kreger. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife, the former Shirley Jane Fullem. to whom he was married 43 years; children, Gail A., wife of Rev. John Palko of Rockwood, and Kirk J. Kreger of Markleton; and a granddaughter, Alyce Margaret Palko. A 1942 graduate of Somerset High School. He was a .life-long Upper Turkeyfoot farmer, dedicated to farming and providing for his family. No viewing or visitation. Private, services will be conducted at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, with the Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment. Kingwood I.O.O.F. cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 700. Pittsburgh. Pa., 15235.
