Alice H. (Brault) Kroc, widow of Joseph E. Kroc, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2016. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 12, 1917 to George and Helen (Ellis) Brault. She graduated from Deep River High School in 1934. After her husband passed in 1964, she went to school to become an LPN graduating in September 1968. She worked for several years at Middlesex Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her home, her vegetable garden, her flowers, making apple pies and was especially fond of crocheting. She has traveled to England, Africa, Canada, Florida, Arizona, the Panama Canal, and the Grand Canyon. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and siblings, George, Harold, Edith and Laura. She is survived by her children, Beatrice (Robert) Gustafson, Elizabeth (Fredrick) Wiese, Jr., Edward (Patty) Kroc and Russell (Linda) Kroc. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and one sister, Beatrice Bersing. The funeral will be held on Friday, July 29 at 11am at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, CT. A calling hour will be held from 10am-11am, just prior to the service. Burial will follow in Burr District Cemetery in Higganum, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Church, 50 Emmanuel Church Rd, Killingworth, CT 06419 or Bolton Volunteer Fire Dept, 168 Bolton Center Rd, Bolton, CT 06043.
