She was born in Weehawken Heights, N.J., to William and Anna Kunze. She was a former employee of Sperry Corp. in Long Island, N.Y. She joined the Navy as a WAVE and after training, worked for the Navy personnel department in Washington, D.C. After World War II, she moved to Minneapolis, Minn., and worked for Byerly's store. She and her husband moved to Bella Vista on March 31, 1992, from Minneapolis. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid gardener. She married Merlyn C. Burk on March 10, 1945.
She was 79 when she passed away at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale, AR. I have a copy of her obit from Morning News, which says "a funeral Mass"
