IRONWOOD, Mich. - Roger George Kuula, 74, passed away Aug. 4, 2015, at Westgate Nursing Home, in Ironwood, after a lengthy illness.

Roger was born March 23, 1941, in Hurley, Wis., to Eino and Rauha (Salli) Kuula.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eino Kuula and Rauha Ylitalo; a sister, Patricia Pesavento; and a brother-in-law, Val Pesavento.

Roger is survived by two sons, Roger Kuula Jr., of Siren, Wis., and Robert Kuula, of Ironwood; a daughter, Teresa Adkins, of Shawano, Wis ,; a stepson, Chris Koski, of Ironwood; a stepdaughter, Nicole Koski, of Hurley; six grandchildren, Samantha, Clade, Macie, Airiel, Avery and Keira; two brothers, Richard (Eleanor) Kuula, of Mikana, Wis., Roy (Joan) Kuula, of Birchwood, Wis .; a sister, Susan Ylitalo, of Whiting, Ind .; and many relatives and friends in the area.
Gravesite services were held at the Hurley Cemetery on Friday, Aug. 8, 2015, at 1 p.m., with a lunch following at Little Finland on U.S. 2, in Kimball, at 2 p.m.

Range Funeral Service Inc. and the Frick-Zielinski Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral arrangements.
