Linda M. La Belle, 60, died Sunday, February 8, 2009, at the Bright Kavanagh House. Linda enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching the Food Network and making sure everyone was living their lives to her satisfaction.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of almost 42 years, Larry, whom she met in the ninth grade; her mother Mae Johnson of Fargo, ND; her brothers Arbury (Roxie) Johnson of Bothell, WA, Tom (Carol) Johnson of Van Couver, WA; her sisters Carol (Butch) Donnelli of Fleetwood, PA, Trudy Gerszewski of Fargo, ND; her son Jim La Belle of Moline, IL; her daughters Sherri (Jason) Garrels, Lori (Rich) Wright both of Des Moines, eleven grandchildren and the apple of her eye, her dog Suzie.

She was preceded in death by her father Vernon Johnson.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
