KIMBERLY K. BALMFORTH, age 47, died peacefully March 8, 2012, at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. Kimberly was born January 28, 1965 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Patricia (nee Lohr) and James LaBelle.

Kim loved to travel, especially to Mackinac Island, and always maintained a special bond with animals, in particular her pet dogs. Kim enjoyed watching TV and was an avid fan of CSI, Law and Order, and Grey's Anatomy. She was never a big fan of getting up early in the morning but she'd get up to watch a goofy game show called "Press Your Luck" featuring animations that always made her laugh. She was also a big fan of the singer Josh Groban and his song "You Raise Me Up." Throughout her life, Kimberly maintained a wonderful childlike persona, which made her extremely lovable to so many people. While she sometimes had a hard time verbally expressing her feelings of love, she never failed to love others through her actions. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Patricia (Dennis) Wydendorf, and her brother Steve (Joann) LaBelle.

Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Rd. (between 14-15 Mile Rds.), Sunday 3:00 p.m. until Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m.

Interment will take place privately in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
