Prominent Farmer Had Lived 40 Years in Almer and Leaves Ten Children.
Antoine LaPratt, who has been ill four months, died at his home in Almer at 4:30 p. m. January 12 of cancer of the liver.
He was born in Wayne county 72 years ago, but came to Tuscola forty years ago and has become well known as an energetic farmer. His wife was Delia Laponsey and they were married 46 years ago. They had 12 children, 10 of whom are living: Frank and Mrs. Louisa Wood of Elmwood; Louis of Alabama; Emanuel, Joseph, Antoine, Henry, Gabriel, Mary and Malena, all of Almer.
Funeral services will be held from Sacred Heart church Caro, Saturday, conducted by Fr. Cook.
