Mrs. Morris Danielson, 40, Passes Away
Ill Two Years; Dies at Oakdale Sanatorium

Mrs. Morris Danielson, 40, who has been a patient at the Oakdale sanatorium, died there at 6:50 pm. Saturday. She had been ill for the past two years and has been at Oakdale for 20 months.

Services will be held at the Armstrong Lutheran church tomorrow afternoon at 2 with the Rev. L.G. Hinderaker in charge. Burial will be in the Armstrong cemetery.

Mrs. Danielson is survived by her husband, two brothers, Harold Laffey of Dolliver and Jens Laffey of Hubbard, and two sisters, Mrs. Tom Olson of Ringsted and Mrs. Howard Kuipers. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Fern Ada Laffey was born on Feb. 10, 1903 at Dolliver and was educated in the Dolliver schools. On Feb. 15, 1939 she was married to Morris Danielson at Fairmont and they had made their home on a farm north of Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 1, 1943)

Mrs. Morris Danielson passed away Saturday [May 29, 1943] at 6:50 p.m. following a two years illness. She has been at Oakdale for the past 20 months. She was 40 years old. A brother and sister have preceded her in death.

Fern Ada Laffey was born February 10, 1903 at Dolliver and received her education in the Dolliver schools. She was married Feb. 15, 1939 to Morris Danielson at Fairmont. They made their home on a farm north of Armstrong.

Surviving her are her husband, two brothers, Harold Laffey of Dolliver and Jens Laffey of Hubbard and two sisters, Mrs. Tom Olson of Ringsted and Mrs. Howard Kuipers.

Funeral services were held yesterday from the Armstrong Lutheran church at 2 o’clock. The Rev. L.G. Hinderaker officiated. Burial was in the Armstrong cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, June 3, 1943)
