Mrs. Charles L. Dunford, 0f 233 W. Union st., West Chester, widow of Charles L. Dunford, died at her home Tuesday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.

Born in Paoli, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Emma Lews Laffey. She had lived at the Union street address for the past 30 years. Mrs. Dunford was an operator for the Bell Telephone Co., and had retired six years ago.

She was a member of St. Agnes Church, West Chester and the Pioneers Club of the Bell Telephone Co.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Marie, wife of Winfield S. Frybarger, Jr., of West Chester; a son, David C., of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren; a brother, George J. Laffey, of West Grov; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Wahls, of Downingtown and Anna, wife of Joseph J. Carter, of West Chester.

Church st., West Chester, Pa., on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Requiem High Mass, St. Agnes Church 12:00 noon. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening.
