She was born Feb. 19, 1918, in Carthage, the daughter of Timothy and Nellie Clampett Laffey.
She married Weldon B. Frantz in 1982 in Springfield.
A son preceded her in death.
Mrs. Frantz worked for the attorney general's office for 38 years. She was a member of Lincoln Women's Club, Investment Club and Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln.
Survivors: husband, Weldon; two sons, Tim (wife, Julie) Bonansinga of Quincy and Sam (wife, Rae) Bonansinga of Springfield; two daughters, Mary Ann (husband, Bill) Prillaman and Susan Bonansinga, both of Springfield; a stepson, Peter J. Frantz of Lincoln; a stepdaughter, Jane Ann Meredith of Grayslake; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; a brother, Paul (wife, Blanche) Laffey of Eldon, Mo.; and three sisters, Irene Ryan and Mary (husband, Bill) Clarey, both of Peoria, and Helen (husband, Tom) Dixon of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Funeral Mass: 1 p.m. Thursday, Holy Family Catholic Church, Lincoln, the Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
