Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Martin, and 11 sisters and 2 brothers, Orpha, Celestia, Lena, Mary, John, Lilly, Dorothy, Susannah, Frank, Ruth, Margie, Vera and Evelyn. She was the last surviving member of this family.
Frances attended Hesston Academy, Hesston, Kansas; graduated from the LaJunta Mennonite School of Nursing and then graduated with a B.A. in Nursing from Goshen College in 1953. She was a Registered Nurse, retiring from Elkhart General Hospital Pediatrics Department. Frances’ hobbies were gardening, cooking and family. She was an active member of Sunnyside Mennonite Church until failing health took her to Indianapolis where she lived near her daughter.
