For Miss Armstrong
Funeral services were held at the First Methodist chruch in Florence Tuesday evening, October 7, at 6:00 o'clock for Miss Lizzie Armstrong, a resident of Florence since 1885, who died in a Florence hospital Monday evening.
The Rev. Lloyd Sansom, pastor, conducted the services.
Pallbearers were Sash Guthrie, Ira Graham, Lonnie Wilson, Grover Standlee, Emment Caskey and Russell Watson.
Burial was in the Florence cemetery under the direction of the Young Funeral Home.
Survivors include four sisters; Miss Laura Armstrong, Miss Nancy Armstrong, Miss Alma Armstrong and Miss Mary Armstrong, all of Florence; other relatives and friends.
