Mrs. Alice Langtry, 51, wife of G. Clifford Langtry and resident of Owosso most of her life, died Sunday afternoon July 7, 1946 at her home in Owosso. A victim of complications after six years of failing health and more than a month of serious illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Jennings-Lyons Chapel, the Rev. C. V. Holstein officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Owosso. The body will rest at the Chapel.

Alice Kirby Langtry was born April 23, 1895 in Gratiot County, Michigan, the daughter of John Wagner Kirby and Julia Ann Sheldon Kirby.

Alice married George Clifford Langtry the son of Samuel Langtry and Ada Soules on June 29, 1918 in Corunna, Michigan and spent most of her life in Owosso.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons, Marvin and John, both at home, and two brothers, Jay Kirby of Corunna and Al Kirby of Ashley.
