Clara Lankford Armayor, 92, died Friday, Dec. 1, in Midland.
She was born Oct. 31, 1914 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the Late Dr. Joseph Fredrick Lankford and Mary Sears Lankford.
She graduated from Key West High School and attended Florida State where she received her degree in Bachelors in Science.
She met and married Arthur (Nevy) Vincent Armayor in Sept. of 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by a son, Fredrick Vincent Armayor of Albuquerque, NM; a daughter, Linda Claire Armayor of Midland; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, at 4:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church.
Graveside service will be held Monday, Dec. 11, at 10 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
