Martha Jane Adair, 82 years old, who had resided in Checotah for the past 42 years, died in Morris December 31 after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church here January 3 with Rev. George McDow officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery under direction of the Smith Funeral home.
Survivors include: three daughters: Mrs. Jess Fredrick, Checotah, Mrs. Clyde Summers, Lindsey, and Mrs. Marie Washmon, Harlingen, Texas; three sons, Jack Adair of Tulsa, Jim Adair of Morris and Glenn Adair of Oxnard, Calif; one brother and one sister.
