After retiring from the bank, she worked in her late husband Dr. Ira Benson Allen's office as a receptionist. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and a member of the Seaford Historical Society.
She is survived by her son, Michael H. Vincent and his wife, Elaine of Seaford, DE; granddaughter, Michelle Middleton; and 3 great-grandchildren; and a step-daughter, Phyllis Wilson of Seaford, DE.
